I recently got a new Rickenbacker 360/12 Fireglo - it looks like the picture on the left, although the eagle-eyed among you will realise that it's a six-string model in the picture.

Acoustic and Plugged in the tone is lovely, especially through a Marshall amp. The purists will want an AC30, but I'm happy as I am. You don't just get the unique Rickenbacker jangle, but so many others as well. Stick the Gain up to 11 and you get a mighty superb distortion.
